T'was the Week After Christmas 2008:

And all through the house not a person was stirring and the silence was a louse. The laundry was done by a laundress named Pam and boy what a pile she had on her hands. Her in her house robe, the one with the snaps kept looking and looking for a bed that was clean to lay down and nap. Then what to her wondering eyes disappeared - why her charge card of course she claimed with despair. Away went the relatives, the plane took them home, leaving behind great memories for all to claim as their own.

We experienced....

Steve hanging out at 7-11 after Pam ditched him
Jessie trying to escape late at night
Brenda catching him and screwing up the alarm
A stolen car
Steve being held by the sheriff's department
GPS reported missing, along with Steve and Brenda
Many, many "recalculating" told to us by Guerda
Rhonda beating Nay at games
Aly looking a bit contorted sleeping on the love seat
An 'amen' by Steve at church
The bunk bed mattress in the middle of the front room
We all know now if Rhonda and Becky say they're hungry - feed them!
Sean smiling more than any of us have EVER seen
Family getting to know each other better
Bass being caught at the house and a pair of fishing poles left to be used... one of them pink :)
Worms in the frig... how long do they last?
Aly going with the flow and loving being with her cousins
Captain Randy with t-shirts to prove it
Scott being a poopa or whatever he's called :)
Legs being hugged by Paeton and hands being held by Raeghan

I could go on and on... the joy of this wonderful season of Christ's birth and all the family being together will forever remain in our hearts.

With all that I have I want to thank all of you for being there for me, Travis and Nichole. You filled a void that has left us hurting and sad. Above all else our family knows that we have each other. We are BLESSED!

Love,
Pam, Aunt Pam, Mom and Grandma

From Rhonda:
OHHH....
We experienced a whole lotta loud family love.
Us kids are now grown ups but still have to sit at the kiddie table.
We did in fact receive the ugliest ornament from Scott & Carol and we love her.
I watched a complete episode of the Wiggles with Reaghan. Mmmmm joy.
We figured Guerda in fact knew we were out of towners and had a little holiday fun of her own with her favorite expression " make a u-turn".
Bikinis on Christmas Eve although they were all tourists like us.
Pictures galore.
Each member of my family brought back 5-10. Pounds that is!! And I didn't even get the P'nut butter pie recipe again God probably doing for me what I can't do for myself.
In addition Jessie has a bruise on his arm from his shoulder to his elbow.
I do rock at games!!
We did drive a stolen vehicle for days.
Went alligator hunting in the Everglades (or at least that is the story my desert rat friends will hear).
But most of all we enjoyed spending time with each of our cousins and really getting to know them it was very special and we didn't even scare off my hubby!!
Jeff is truly made for Aunt Jaci he's funny and we dug him welcome to the family.
And lastly Aly is 1 foot shorter due to sleeping on the love seat. There was no love there.
We love you all thanks for being such gracious hosts and hostesses!!
